Consultants Roundtable – Can We Help You With Your Business Challenges?

Whether you’re new to consulting or have been in business for years, you’re sure to encounter a challenging situation. Have you ever wished you could ask an expert for advice on a difficult decision? Do you have a strong support network in place to help you?

Join us on Monday, October 15^th for networking, dinner, and a consultants roundtable. You’ll have the opportunity to review your challenges with our network of experienced SPC members. We’ll share how we’ve handled similar issues, and recommend potential solutions and resources to help you make the right decisions to overcome your business challenges.

We’ll be asking each attendee to recommend a resource, share a best practice, and ask the group for help with a problem. There are no set topics for this meeting, but some of the issues we’ve discussed at earlier meetups are:

Should I quote hourly or fixed-fee pricing?
What’s the best business structure for me – LLC or sole-proprietor?
How do I know if I’ve covered everything in my contract and scope of work?
Will publishing a blog or newsletter help me get new and repeat clients?
Which social media platform (if any) will grow my consulting business?
What’s the best way to deal with a client who’s slow to pay my bills?

We hope you’ll attend this workshop to share your experiences and challenges with your colleagues.
