Biographical Information:
Norman Daoust enjoys making presentations that are
both enjoyable and informative while making technical topics easy to understand
and accessible to all.
Recent clients of Daoust Associates include the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Canadian Institute for Health
Information (CIHI), Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium, Inc.
(CDISC), and a mechanical engineering consulting company.
Prior to founding Daoust Associates, Norman was the
Enterprise Data Architect at Partners HealthCare Systems, Inc. in Boston. He is
the Secretary of the Technical Steering Committee of the Health Level Seven
healthcare standards organizations and was its recipient of the Ed Hammond
Volunteer of the Year award in 1998. He serves as the President of the
Independent Computer Consultants Association's Greater Boston chapter and as a
member of the Board of Directors of the Data Administration Management
Association's Greater Boston chapter. He is an active speaker and a published
author. In his leisure time, Norman enjoys organic gardening and leading the
Eastwood Swing Orchestra.
