'Can
you give me some ideas for staying in touch with clients between client
engagements? |
This is a very important business marketing strategy
that many do not do well. How you do it will depend on your "style" as well as
your audience and their interests. Some approaches are: Mail things
to them regularly such as articles that would be of interest to them, you
newsletter (an excellent marketing tool) or information about things you have
been involved with. Call as often as you are comfortable calling. A
holiday call is the least you can do. More often if it fits with your style and
theirs. Join professional organizations that they belong to such as
the Chamber of Commerce and attend regularly. Clubs can bee meeting places for
some groups. Whatever approaches you adopt must be ones you are
comfortable with and will do consistently and with genuine interest.
